It Ain’t Me, Babe Blurb
Sinning never felt so good…
A fortuitous encounter.
A meeting that should never have happened.
Many years ago, two children from completely different worlds forged a connection, a fateful connection, an
unbreakable bond that would change their lives forever…
Salome knows only one way to live—under Prophet David’s rule. In the commune she calls home, Salome
knows nothing of life beyond her strict faith, nor of life beyond the Fence—the fence that cages her, keeps her
trapped in an endless cycle of misery. A life she believes she is destined to always lead, until a horrific event sets
her free.
Fleeing the absolute safety of all she has ever known, Salome is thrust into the world outside, a frightening
world full of uncertainty and sin; into the protective arms of a person she believed she would never see again.
River ‘Styx’ Nash knows one thing for certain in life—he was born and bred to wear a cut. Raised in a turbulent
world of sex, Harleys, and drugs, Styx, unexpectedly has the heavy burden of the Hades Hangmen gavel thrust
upon him, and all at the ripe old age of twenty-six—much to his rivals’ delight.
Haunted by a crushing speech impediment, Styx quickly learns to deal with his haters. Powerful fists, an iron
jaw and the skillful use of his treasured German blade has earned him a fearsome reputation as a man not to be
messed with in the shadowy world of outlaw MC’s. A reputation that successfully keeps most people far, far
away.
Styx has one rule in life—never let anyone get too close. It’s a plan that he has stuck to for years, that is, until a
young woman is found injured on his lot… a woman who looks uncannily familiar, a woman who clearly does
not belong in his world, yet a woman he feels reluctant to let go…
Dark Contemporary Romance/New Adult Novel. Contains sexual situations, violence, sensitive and taboo
subjects, offensive language and mature topics. Recommended for age 18 years and up*

My reiview

I read this book without reading the synopsis because I trusted Tillie and I had loved her first book immensely. So I knew this book would be great as the first. This book was freaking FANTASTIC from the strting to the end. An compelling story about a girl and guy from two different world and what happens when they both meet. Igniting a spark in their heart again after the first glimpse.
It has a strong concept about religions ,,about beliefs. It's a book where opposites meet. Literally different from each other meet. A beautifully written book with lots of intense emotions, well develoed characters, realistic, conflicts and danger. It had hooked me from start and you will be too with the story Mae. You will cry ,laugh, smile!!!

Tillie Cole is a Northern girl through and through. She originates from a place called Teesside
on that little but awesomely sunny (okay I exaggerate) Isle called Great Britain. She was

Blog Tour- Perfectly broken by Prescott Lane

Book & Author details:

Perfectly Broken by Prescott Lane
Publication date: March 2014
Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romance

Synopsis:
Even after years of trauma therapy, Peyton still believes she’s broken.  She has little desire to date or show off her natural beauty, content simply to hang out with her best friends and run her pie shop in New Orleans.  But her world turns upside-down when a handsome architect and self-confessed player shows up in her shop and thinks she’s perfect, much more than the usual hook-up.  While Peyton does her best to resist his charms, believing she could never be enough for him, she can’t deny the obvious heat between them.

With Reed determined to have her, Peyton must decide whether to continue to hide behind her apron and baggy clothes or take a chance and share her scars with Reed, a man with a playboy reputation and scars of his own — a dark past he can’t possibly share with Peyton, not after learning the horrors she’s endured.  But if they can find a way to trust each other, and themselves, they just might be able to heal, to save each other, to live perfectly broken together.
My review

Peyton Mayfield has spent years in trauma therapy and considers herself broken. She is now living a content life running a pie shop called 'Adelaide's' in an upcoming part of New Orleans and is happy spending time with her best friend Quinn.

Reed Langston is a sexy and successful architect from a wealthy New Orleans family who has recently moved back home to where he grew up. He's a ladies man who plays the part well and he knows it.

After visiting Adelaide's with his best friend Bret (who is also Quinn's boyfriend), Reed is introduced to Peyton which stirs up feelings he's never experienced before. There is an instant spark not to mention the devil's food chocolate praline pie between them, but is Peyton ready to stop hiding behind her apron and baggy clothes or will dark secrets rip Peyton and Reed's world apart?

A gripping romantic story with a roller-coaster of emotions which keeps the pages turning. Prescott Lane has touched on some serious issues with considerable thought and sensitivity. The humour from Dr Lorraine, Peyton's Therapist to the one liners from Bret will have you laughing out loud.

A fantastic epilogue to tie up the book but leaving it open for more
