Small-town overachiever Riley Banks has finally scored her big break--working in Manhattan as a fashion design assistant for her childhood crush, Josh Braden. She enters her new job hoping to make a name for herself and--just maybe--explore the romance that slipped through her fingers way back when.
Josh Braden has models at his beck and call, a staff that never says never, and an elegant clothing line for the holiday season. When he hires Riley Banks, he expects her to learn the business from the ground up. But the girl next door turns out to be much more than he remembered.
Josh and Riley's friendship heats up. Every steamy kiss and every erotic caress stirs a love they cannot deny. But when Riley designs a wedding gown that would cause even the most jaded fashion editors to swoon, Riley's mentor accuses her of stealing the design.
Facing indisputable proof and the mistrust of her lover, Riley is not sure she can take the heat of life in the fast lane of the fashion industry--and Josh is forced to choose between the woman he loves and the career he adores.

My Review
Another astonishing book from the series Snow Sisters & The Bradens will seriously take your
breath away. The plot itself will leave you craving for more. It is filled with passionate moments,
smart repartee and tale full of love.
The author, Melissa Foster has done a great job in building her characters and giving them
unique persona. The story itself is well-written and far out ardent. Although it is written in 3rd
POV (which is I am not fond of) I didn't get bored reading all the way through, my eyes were
glued to each words and happenings. One thing that made this story remarkable is its principle.
In our life there is always that someone who will confide us when we are in melancholy. Well in
this book there are tons of those people. They have means to let the main character find its way
in seeing what is right for oneself and for the greater good. What struck me most is the guidance
of Riley's mom. It seems like her advices are based from experience of someone (by the author
perhaps?), or as what they say “been there done that”. I was nodding the whole time her mother
talks about giant leap of faith, the certainty of here and now, time heals not just broken bones but
broken hearts as well and so on and so forth. The knowledge and wisdom were overflowing I
cannot contain it. –heh- or maybe I was just too absorbed in reading this good book,
exceptionally good. Either way I am much thankful that I’ve got the opportunity to read this.
Now let’s talk about the main characters. Josh Braden, the male character (duh). I’ll be damned
by this guy. Most leading men in some stories have this bad boy, intimidating, get-out-of-myway-
or-ill-kick-your-ass kind of aura which is actually fine. But in here though, the character is...
hot, sexy, drool worthy, gorgeous, and all those panty dropping descriptions. Physical narrative
aside, he is a very kind man, a passionate partner, stern leader, meticulous designer and many
more. But above all he believes and has faith in love. I am used to guys whose souls and beliefs
were crushed by unforgettable and excruciating past, thus conviction to heavenly emotions... –
gone. So Josh is a breather for me. I could just swoon all day thinking of him (lol). Riley Banks,
the very talented, independent and smart woman. I really like her; she is not bitchy despite her
little insecurities. Professionalism is in her bones even if some leech is clinging to Josh, well she
has her way of handling herself (jealousy in tow). But regardless of her strong facade, she is
quite fragile. In those moments, she has her family and friends in which she can rely on to and of
course Josh. I also love the auxiliary characters. They were all impressive may it be a friend or a
foe.
I don’t know much about fashion stuffs but this book did not leave me oblivious of those things.
I wonder if the author is a fashion goddess herself because every detail of certain clothing or
critics is well-expressed. The knowledge that surge through the characters mouth about clothing
designs and the proper combinations had me asses my own fashion sense... which sadly nonexistent.
Anyway, another thing I love about this book is the quandary they encounter. Again the
way the author concentrate on a certain dilemma had me understand and be in sync with the
story. That is why I totally recommend this book, for those who are into romance and deliciously
erotic genre. Well even if you are not on those genres, you will still be captivated by this book’s
spell.
